2006 UK Music City Bowl

During the 2006 college football bowl season there was no greater upset than the one that occurred in Nashville, Tennessee in the Music City Bowl.

The Clemson Tigers, a fixture in the Top 25 for much of the season, brought their powerful ground game and explosive defense to LP Field for a date with Kentucky. But Kentucky was ready as they unleashed their quick-strike offense, complementing it with a hard-hitting defense.

The Wildcats also benefited from a fourth-down gamble by coach Rich Brooks that shocked the overflow crowd, which included more than 50,000 Big Blue fans.
